About the Sephirothic Tree of Life
The medieval kabbalists believed that God’s self could not be understood, but God has revealed attributes that interact with each other and the world. These are known as Sefirot / Sephiroth. Kabbalists portray the ten Sefirot on a Tree of Life that serves as a visual map of the Universe and a specific diagram consisting of ten spheres or energy centers. The Sephirothic Tree is an eternal emanation of the divine principle: it is a macrocosm and microcosm and describes the universal laws of reality. The location of each Sefirah on the Tree of Life represents a variety of qualities, including the sefirah’s gender and position in God’s body.
The concept of the Sephiroth first appeared in the Sefer ha-Yetzirah (“Book of Creation”), as the 10 ideal numbers and that book inspired me to create the very useful meditation tool that I am presenting you here!
''Ten Sefirot of Nothingness
And 22 Foundation Letters:
Three Mothers,
Seven Doubles
And twelve Elementals. (...)
Ten Sefirot of Nothingness
ten and not nine
ten and not eleven
Understand with Wisdom
Be wise with Understanding
Examine with them
and probe from them
Make each thing stand on its essence
And make the Creator sit on His base.''
The Ten Sephirots are:
1. Kether - The eternal, the spiritual Perfection
2. Chokmah - Power of creation, energy, wisdom
3. Binah - Understanding, realization
4. Chesed - Condensation, the power of growth and stability
5. Geburah - Movement and changing, the power of destruction
6. Tiphareth - Consciousness and harmony, the balance of the middle, beauty
7. Netzach - Creativity and anarchy, sensitivity
8. Hod - intellect and logic, structure (Mercur)
9. Yesod - Reflection and imagination (Moon and water)
10. Malkuth - the root, the origin, the subconscious
Those 10 spheres correspond to the Four Elements as well as to the various Levels of the Soul and thus to the Four Worlds of the Kabbalah.

About Large Sephirothic Meditation Mat
The large Sephirothic mat does not differ in design from the smaller version. The key difference is its size, which allows a person to sit in the center and meditate comfortably. Additionally, the Tree of Life diagrams are oriented toward the person sitting in the center, making them easier to contemplate during meditation or ritual work.
The Relationship between Tarot and the Tree of Life
The Tree of Life is the universal framework on which the entire tarot system resides. The 22 trump cards of the Major Arcana represent the 22 paths that connect the ten spheres of the Tree, the ten spheres themselfs are the basic for the number cards as they count (Kether for the Aces, Chokmah for the 4 Twos, Binah for the 4 Threes etc.). Each suit of the Minor Arcana represents an element and is attached to a 'world' and a 'level of soul' i.e. a mental state of the human being.
22 paths connect one Sephirah to another, corresponding to he 22 cards of the Major Arcana and 22 Hebrew letters.
