The Tree of Life as the Structural Framework of the Tarot (Major + Minor Arcana)
The Tree of Life is the universal framework on which the entire Tarot system resides. The 22 trump cards of the Major Arcana represent the 22 paths that connect the ten spheres of the Tree. The ten spheres themselves are the basis for the number cards as they count (Kether for the Aces, Chokmah for the 4 Twos, Binah for the 4 Threes, etc.). Each suit of the Minor Arcana represents an element and is attached to a 'world' and a 'level of soul', i.e. a mental state of the human being.
A) MAJOR ARCANA
The paths connecting one Sephirah to another are paths that represent the lessons learned on one’s journey or the spiritual requirements needed to traverse to the next Sephirah. Collectively, these 22 paths are known as the Path of the Serpent/ The Fool’s Journey and represent the journey of the seeker who longs to return to the divine. As the adept travels along this path, it also undergoes the healing of the Spirit.

B) MINOR ARCANA
Each of the Ten Sephiroth corresponds with a particular number in The Minor Arcana through which their numerical qualities and energy are individually expressed within their Suit. The 2nd, 3rd, 6th and 10th Sephira also corresponded with the Court Cards, again reinforcing their meaning through the qualities of their Sephira and its number.
How to follow the Minor Path?
Starting with the world of Emanation, we travel through the cards and go from the Aces to the Tens. Then, we start all over again, but in the ace of the next world. So from the 10 of Wands, we move to the Ace of Chalices. From the 10 of Chalices, we move to the Ace of Swords. And from the 10 of Swords, we move to the Ace of Disks.
